What's New?

Hi Penguins,

Here comes the fact train with even more amazing facts about our island, Choo-Choo! So, this fun fact is about an unreleased room we actually had on the island, I thought I’d spice this one up and shy away from all the collectibles with this one. This room, actually had more than one room, this room had multiple entrances with a more RP-like environment within those extra rooms, however, we chose not to release this room, and the other rooms, as it wouldn’t stick with our current style which is primarily 2010.

As you can see from the screenshot above, it’s technically the new era and this was changed instantly when Club Penguin Rewritten was released, this room was unfinished at the time and it had two entrances to two different other unreleased rooms – we wanted to create more environments for those who enjoy creating cool stories. This is a cancelled room, but we’d like to hear your thoughts on the idea of this room nonetheless, we really appreciate it! If you have another fun fact suggestion for the next Fact Friday, leave a comment down below!

Hi Penguins,

Today is another day for a fine fact, and what a fine fact I have a store in for you. This Fact, along side the previous fact, has to do with a pin and a special someone that delivered this pin for all penguins to collect who managed to meet him within a short period of time.

During the time before Music Jam appeared, we had a penguin who was also a DJ, can you guess who? If you guessed DJ Maxx, good job! DJ Maxx was a penguin that wanted to experience the lights again, he wanted to hear the crowd cheer once more, before he made his big appearance where thousands of penguins would show up to collect his background that was personally signed by him – he wanted to give an item that’ll bring a meaning towards something that is coming. During March time, he showed up in many different rooms with the name ‘??????’, players then clicked on his penguin thinking nothing of it–that is until they were able to collect a tombstone pin.

This tombstone pin was collected 438 times! Again, another small amount for something that many of you penguins probably didn’t know about our penguin named DJ Maxx, some say that he was very odd the first time he was waddling around rooms, he wouldn’t speak, he’d show no emotion and he’d just sit there, what are your thoughts on this? Is there a deep meaning behind all of this? Leave your comments below on your thoughts about this Fact Friday, and comment a suggestion for the next one.

Hi Penguins,

It’s time for that special time of day–school! Just kidding, it’s time for Penguin of The Week! This penguin has been helping out a lot around the island and giving new penguins of the community a helping flipper when it is needed, which we appreciate a lot. Not only that, this penguin happens to wear an exclusive hat, 3D glasses, with an MP3 Player… does this ring a bell to you?

Let’s congratulate Sn2ckerspup for winning this weeks Penguin of The Week! You’ve managed to grab yourself a very exclusive hat, and let’s not forget the coins. We appreciate every single one of you within this island of ours, and there will be many other chances for you to get a spotlight on the blog. Hey Penguins

Today I want to announce that we are changing Mod Monday to Snow Saturday. So you might be thinking, what is going to happen to Mod Monday. Since school is starting for most penguins, we are now going to be celebrating the community on Saturday!

So what even is Snow Saturday? Snow Saturday will be a community gathering that will be hosted every 2 weeks. Everybody is invited to Snow Saturday, no matter who you are, this is for the whole community after all! During Snow Saturday, we can hang out at the Cove and talk about the recent newspaper events or play some matches of Sled Racing. No matter what we do, it will be a great time!

Saturday, September 9th

• Time: 12:00pm PST

• Room: Snow Forts

• Server: Arctic

I can’t wait to see all of you at the first Snow Saturday. If you are having a hard time finding the start time, make sure to look at the Clock Tower which is located in the Snow Forts. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Hi Penguins,

This is going to be a serious topic, more serious than normal–I know, crazy, right? We’ve noticed a lot of penguins trying to impersonate staff members in-game to gain benefits or to put a bad reputation on others, this post will clear up what a Moderator is and what Moderators actually do on the island.

Here is a list of questions and answers that’ll hopefully help you in the future if you ever come across someone impersonating in-game moderators.

Q: How do I identify a Moderator?

A: Moderators have a special badge that is only given to them, they will wear this in hopes you easily identify them from a huge crowd, here is what their player card will look like compared to a regular penguin. Left being the Moderator, right being regular.

Q: I’ve seen a penguin impersonate a Moderator, what do I do?

A: You can report them via their player card and our in-game Moderation team will take a look at it and determine whether action is needed or not.

Q: What do Moderators actually do?

A: Moderators make sure that the island is safe from rule breakers, they will go into each room and keep watch on what is happening, if you see anything bad going on, then a Moderator would’ve most likely seen it–however, our community is huge and Moderators need every help they can get so if you see a member of the community breaking a certain rule, then please report them so we get alerted.

Q: Okay–how do I become a Moderator?

A: We get this question a LOT, and as much as we’d love to invite everyone to become a Moderator, because, hey… Less rule breakers the better, right? Unfortunately it’s quite difficult to choose the perfect penguin for the job, so we take a CLOSE look at those helping out on the island, bringing in successful reports, helping others on the island, and giving tours to newcomers, being friendly is the way to go and it shows it! If you happen to do these things, then you have a good chance at it as we take in notes when it comes to players helping others out!

Q: Is my Child safe on Club Penguin Rewritten?

A: Absolutely, we hold a fantastic community filled with young, talented, and amazing players all around the globe who help other users, not only that, we also offer Safe Chat servers which allows your child to click on certain phrases that are available to all–if you wish, you can contact our support team (support@clubpenguinrewritten.pw) or reach our Twitter (@CPRewritten) and we’ll be sure to help you with any other questions regarding your Child’s safety on our island.

Q: How do I get in contact with your Support staff?

A: You may get in contact with us about your account, or any other safety questions by reaching our support email — support@clubpenguinrewritten.pw, please take note that we reach huge emails every single day so your ticket may take a while to get an answer, but it will get read so please be patient.

Q: Do you offer Safety videos of some sort?

A: We try our best to reach our audiences on multiple platforms of social media, our Safety videos generally reach our YouTube audience on our YouTube page, you can see our recent Safety video by checking out the video below.

You can see our previous post about this by clicking here.

Hi Penguins,

We’re back again with another mind blowing fact for you all, on a special day that is Friday, the best day of the week. The last Fact Friday showcased the first ever item on our snowy island, so why not list the first ever wearable pin that was given to the users for a limited time only, this pin was called the Feather pin and it was located at The Beacon.

This pin was well received by the community, many users logged into our virtual world to collect the limited pin in hopes to add something rare to their stamp collection, which was rightfully so, this is the first pin after all. During the release of the pin, this was the easiest pin to find due to the large location that a first pin would be at, the location had zero meaning other than to make the item visible for those who wish to collect an easy pin–even so, the pin was only collected 919 times! That is double of the Beta Hat, which is quite crazy if you look at it that way. If you have any other facts that you’d like to suggest, feel free to leave them down in the comments below for the next Fact Friday.

Hi Penguins,

I thought it would be great fun to start a new blog series going, one that’ll connect all the community to some awesome facts about our beloved island, believe it or not, we’ve created some amazing history here on Club Penguin Rewritten–as this is the first post of many, let’s start it with a fact that digs right back to the creation of Club Penguin Rewritten.

During the release of Club Penguin Rewritten, we released a limited hour item for all penguins to grab and that item is now known as the Beta Hat – it was SO limited that only 428 penguins managed to grab the hat for themselves, now that’s very short for the amount of penguins we have on the island. The hat was obtainable by a box located at The Town, this was available for all, and was removed once testing finished; Unfortunately this item will never return and this is why rarity comes in hand with this item. Have you seen a penguin wearing this item before? If you have, feel free to leave a comment your sightings, and a suggestion for the next Fact Friday!
